Is The NFC South The NFL’s Worst Division?

In short, the answer is yes. If any team from this division wins the Super Bowl, I will run ten miles wearing nothing but my banana hammock. My banana hammock is a little too small so my family jewels will undoubtedly make an appearance.

1st: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

As much as I am going to shit on this division, the Bucs are a solid team. I will be shocked if this team doesn’t win the division.

The Bucs are a solid team on defense. Vita Vea is one of my favorite players in all of football. If you want to run the ball down the middle against this defense, think again! The Samoan superhero has been clogging the lane for years. He will continue to do so next season.

I have always been a fan of quarterback Baker Mayfield. I relate to a player who wears his emotions on his sleeve. I think one of the biggest mistakes made in the NFL the past decade was the Browns letting him walk. It has been great to see Baker find a good home in Tampa.

Over under,9.5. Im taking the over here Billy Bob.

2nd: Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are going to improve on both sides of the football this season. This division is so weak that a slight improvement of this team will be enough for them to finish second.

Defensively they have some players I am excited about. Jacee Horn is going to be one of the best corners in the league the next few years.

Most conversations about this team will be about their potential bust of a quarterback, Bryce Young. Hindsight is 2020 but I was never sold on Bryce Young coming out of college. He is a very smart player. Whether or not he has the physical skill set to be a starting quarterback in this league is still up for debate. This will be the year he needs to prove his haters wrong. The truth will be somewhere in the middle. I think he will end up being one of the best backups in a few seasons. That is still far below the expectations the Panthers had when they drafted him number one overall.

Rookie wide receiver Tetairo McMillan is not going to be good. He thrived in college because he is big and coordinated. He does not have the speed or separation to succeed at the NFL level.

Over under 6.5, Steviepoooooo be taking that over! Roar!

3rd: Atlanta Falcons

A lot of people will be picking the Falcons to either win this division or finish second. Not your boy. I have no faith that either quarterback will be able to stay healthy.

If they are going to have any semblance of success, sophomore quarterback Michael Penix needs to be the player the Falcons thought he was when they drafted him tenth overall. I am not sure he is.

This team has been the epitome of all talent and no promise. Some of their names look great on paper but then come up short in the actual games.

Their defense is still going to be abysmal. This franchise apparently could not care less about this side of the ball. Their defensive line is so bad that opposing teams look like they are playing seven on seven against them.

Over under 7.5, this is my most confident under so far this season.

4th: New Orleans Saints

Not only am I picking the Saints to finish last in their division, they are going to have the worst record in the entire league.

Their quarterback situation is one of the worst I have seen in a long time. I am not sure there is a single player on their roster that has any business taking snaps as an NFL quarterback.

I am sure Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler are very nice. So is my mother. Just cause you’re nice doesn’t mean you can be an NFL quarterback. Sorry to crush your dreams mom!

If this team doesn’t trade Alvin Kamara to a contender before the trade deadline, I am going to send Roger Goodell a sternly worded email! Free Alvin!

Over under 5.5, wayyyyy under. If they win four games, it will be a miracle.

A bientot!
