This is a battle for second place in this division. This is a very intriguing division with a buttload of different storylines.
Does Aaron Rodgers have anything left in the tank? Doubt it.
Are the Bengals going to overcome their cheap owners and have a good season? Don’t think so.
Do the Browns have anyone worth starting at quarterback? Yes indeed,
Will the Ravens win a meaningful playoff game? I wouldn’t count on it.
Without any further adieu, let’s get into the discussions.
1st: Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens will continue their run as the best team in this division. They are better than every other team in their division at almost every aspect of the game. Their quarterback is the best, their defense is the best, and their run game is the best. The Bengals have the best receivers but other than that it is all Ravens.
The only question I have is whether they can come through in the postseason. I wouldn’t put my money on it. As good as Lamar is I still think he will continue to come up short against other great quarterbacks in the AFC.
Over under 11.5. It is going to be a slight over for me dawg.
2nd: Cincinnati Bengals
This pick is more about how much I believe in Joe Burrow than how much I believe in this team. The man has ice in his veins. People are quick to forget that he is the only quarterback to defeat the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes in the AFC the last five years. The man is just clutch.
Burrow and Chase is the best quarterback receiver combination in the league. Their offense is going to be really good as usual.
The defense is where this team has the most questions. They made some moves in the offseason to improve their weaknesses. It will be just enough to secure second place in the North and clinch a Wild Card berth.
Over under, 9.5. Gotta go over here.
3rd: Pittsburgh Steelers
This season has the potential to be a complete disaster for the Steelers. I think this is the year that they finally take a giant step backwards.
It’s hard to believe that a Mike Tomlin coached team is going to finish well below five hundred. There is one single determining factor that is going to be the catalyst for this to occur. That factor is a middle aged man named Aaron.
My personal feelings for Mr. Aaron Rodgers aside, there is a very limited history of NFL quarterbacks having success over the age of forty one. That list is actually one single name. Tom Brady.
Rodgers will be ok when he plays. The problem is I don’t think he will actually play very much this season. One big hit by a Ravens defender and he will be out a month.
Over under 8.5, I will be SMASHING that under baby!
4th: Cleveland Browns
I weirdly still kind of believe in the Browns. I am a defensive minded football fan and I think their defense is going to be good. The Brown’s defense is good. Their secondary is legit. Myles Garrett is one of the best players in the world. Not to mention one of the hottest. No homo. Ok, maybe a little homo but I mean have you seen that body?
The problem for this team, just like the Steelers, is the quarterback position.
I personally believe in Shedeur Sanders. Like I said in a previous article, the truth lies somewhere in the middle with him. I think he is a lot better than a fifth round selection. He is not as bad as the media and NFL scouts have made him out to be. He is also conversely not as good as he and his father think he is.
A bientot
