We are going to turn things around this week my fellow Poopies! We are not going to be incorrect on a single selection this week. Let’s bottle up all this positive energy to carry us through the weekend!
Thursday Night: Steelers -5.5 over Bengals
The two oldest quarterbacks in the league square off more than three hours past their bedtimes this evening. Can the newly acquired silver fox Joe Flacco pull the upset in Pittsburg against the silver salamander Aaron Rodgers? It’s a no go Joe! The Steelers are going to roll at home and win by multiple scores.
College Marquee: 9Georgia -7.5 over 5Ole Miss
As much as Steviepoooooo loves his golfing acquittance Ole Miss quarterback Trinidaddy Chambliss, the Rebels are going to have a rough time in Athens Saturday afternoon. This will be by far the quickest and most powerful defense that Trinidad and the Ole Miss offense will see this season. Whether or not Ole Miss can put up more than twenty-one points will decide the matchup. If they cannot, they will be doomed!
London: Jaguars +2.5 over Rams
I really went back and forth between these two teams while making this selection. The deciding factor was the uncertainty surrounding Puca Nacua.
There is a strong chance he sits out. If he does, the Rams will have a very hard time putting up points. Even if he does play, he will most certainly leave the game at some point to be medically evaluated. That is his thing after all.
No offense is more reliant on one player than the Rams are with Puca. The Jaguars are more than capable of putting up enough points to beat a beleaguered Rams team.
Early Window
Saints +4.5 over Bears
Da Bears might be the team that wins crazy close games this season. This game is going to be closer than five points no matter who wins. That is why I am taking the Saints and the points.
Raiders +12.5 over Chiefs
This line just feels way too high. Rashee Rice is good and his return to the Chiefs is a big deal, but still. I would be shocked if the Chiefs cover this line. This feels like an overreaction to their last two wins.
Dolphins +2.5 over Browns
This is such a poopy matchup and the Poopies love it! As much as I believe in the Browns defense, their offense has been so bad I can’t bet on them for a few weeks.
Patriots -6.5 over Titans
This is the revenge of all revenge games for Mike Vrabel. His tenure in Tennessee did not end well. The Titans should never have let him go as their head coach. It has been nothing but a series of tragedies for them since big Mike left Nashville. The Patriots are going to roll.
Panthers -1.5 over Jets
The Jets are possibly the only team in the league where I feel comfortable breaking my “don’t bet on the Panthers” rule. The Jets were so terrible last week in London, they are going to have to win a single game before I risk money on them again. Poor Justin fields had 45 yards passing in the entire game! That will never be forgotten!
Eagles -1.5 over Vikings
It looks like the Vikings are going to give the nod to Carson Wentz in this game. They will give their struggling young quarterback JJ McCarthy one more week to rest up. I wouldn’t want to throw him back to the wolves against the Eagles ferocious defensive line either.
I am putting my faith in the backed into a corner Eagles to get back on track!
Late Window
Colts -1.5 over Chargers
I will be putting many nickels on Danny Dimes and the Colts Sunday. This is a very exciting, evenly matched game. I am feeling very loyal to the Colts at the moment.
Broncos -7.5 over Giants
This is the perfect time to fade Jaxson Fart and the Giants. They are not as good as they looked last Thursday night. They are going to come back to reality in Mile High Stadium.
Packers -6.5 over Cardinals
My sources are telling me that it is going to be Jacoby Brissett in this game. The Packer’s remarkable streak of playing against backup quarterbacks will continue. Cheese melts in a dessert!
Cowboys +1.5 over Commanders
This is a very fun rivalry matchup for America’s game of the week. I cannot wait for these two high flying offenses to go at it. There will not be much defense played in this game. The Cowboys offense has looked at lot better this season. The Poopies are riding and dying with the Cowboys this week.
Sunday Night
49ers -2.5 over Falcons
Brock Purdy should be back this week. The 49ers squeezed all the football they could get out of tubby Mac Jones. Time to go back to Brock.
This is a big spot for the young Michael Penix. He is going to struggle in this game even though the 49ers defense is very depleted.
Monday Night
Buccaneers +5.5 over Lions
As badly as I would like to bet on my stepchildren, on the road on Monday is peak Baker Mayfield time. If Baker gets the football back with under two minutes left needing to score the game the Lions should be pooping their pants. This will be a great closely contested game.
Seahawks -3.5 over Texans
I like having two games on Monday night. If one game is a letdown then at least we have another one to watch. Not sure why we need a 10pm kickoff like we are getting with this one. It’s cruel to losers like me who try to watch every game!
CJ Stroud is going to struggle mightily and the Seahawks will win easily at home.
A bientot!
